Using SQLite as a core engine, WinCatalog 2012 is blazing fast, indexing your stuff as fast as your computer can read the files and searching quicker than you can type.

Browse pictures, music, books and videos no matter where they are stored! Even if you have hundreds (or thousands) of CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray's holding terabytes of information, you can conveniently browse and preview everything right from your PC - and without reaching for that particular disc. WinCatalog 2012 will store previews of all pictures it indexes, extract and index information from MP3/ID3 tags and movies, allowing you to locate your favourite song, picture or movie in just moments. The content of Zip, Rar, and 7ziparchives as well as ISO images is also scanned and indexed, allowing you finding files packed within a compressed archive without having to unpack anything.
